Spondylosis - dog health experiences
Spondylosis dog experience Dog Owner: Tammie Location: Alexandria,MN USA We have a 7 year old Labrador diagnosed with Spondylosis when he was 6. He has had muscle atrophy along his spine so we are now treating with prednisone and are seeing a big difference. Once done with this his treatment may be Rimadyl or Adequin. Anyone else with experience here? -------- Spondylosis dog experience Dog Owner: Peggy Location: Caledonia, MI USA Our Gordon Setter, not quite 8, was just diagnosed with Spondylosis - Vet thought it was torn rear ACL and hip dysplasia but after "Eddie" could not get comfortable (either had to lay or stand, could not sit) he did x-rays which gave us this diagnosis. Bone is pushing on a nerve in lumbar area. We have started a tapering dose of Prednisone and after 2 1/2 days the difference is amazing.
