Malabsorption Syndrome - dog health experiences

We have a dobberman, have it since a small puppie. I found out about his having Malabsorption Syndrome pretty late, as several vets didnt seem to be familiar with such cases. The thing is, the puppie developed quite well, and didnt show any symptom other than its foul smelling and clay-like feces. So far, no treatment or special food have had any positive efect. It seems that I and my wife are in for a long life of dealing with the products of a bad digestion :( Nevertheless, the puppie is far from sick and happy as ever, and so are we.

for a while now my dachshud has been eating ferociously and cannot gain weight. She is very skinny. I took her to the vet and the doctor ran a test, but said that he did not know what was wrong with her. I did described her symptoms, but he had no idea. I asked him what could I do to help her. He just told me to keep feeding her. But she is always hungry and can never get enough.

She has the symptoms of malabsorption. Her stools are large and soft, and looks loopy or swirly. It also has a very fowl odor that smells different from regualr stool, and it is a very light color. She is very weak and loses her balance easily. Somtimes she spaces out.

I believe my 11 week old Kishon/lab mix has Malabsorption Syndrome. When we got him at 7 weeks he was skinny from the start. So we took him to the week and the vet wormed him and gave us medicine to help his stomach and help gain weight. He hasnt gained any thing. He is looks like I just got him off the streets. The only thing to him is bones and skin. Its really sad and he eats like a pig, but keeps having runny stools. So now I have to take him back to the vet. Its a horrible coniditoin and I hope he dont have it but I know he does. I already called in to his vet and they said he most likely has it. If any one has any advice please contact me.
