My 3 year old boxer is afflected with alopecia. The vet is currently treating him with melenonin, and it seems to be working. Three weeks ago I was hospitalized for two weeks and George (my boxer) had to stay at a pet hotel for the two weeks. When I got home and got him back, his hair loss has gotten worse and spread. The vet feels is might be stress at seeing me put in an ambulance and taken off for two weeks. I worry about him, because it isn't getting better and no body seems to have an answer. Please help. --------
